Decorate a bottle or Jar This week
Well my goodness how Retro are you lot! Some fantastic entries last week - we loved visiting your blogs to see what you came up with!
Now this week is another session sponsored by the fabulous Craft Barn. So please make sure you make a link to their website within your entry this week to qualify for the prize. Check them out here they are a brilliant place to shop and are offering a prize of £15 to spend with them for the lucky randomly picked winner this week.
So what do you have to do? We want you to decorate a bottle or jar this week. Making a card or tag to match is optional but it would be brilliant to see what you come up with both to decorate and also fill them.
Here's a little tutorial to inspire you and show you how easy it is to make great gifts on a budget
Essentially Oils supplied the unperfumed shower base which is a natural shower gel without any of the nasty additives some bath products contain, but you can also use simple bath or shower gel and if you cant find that, an unperfumed shampoo is an excellent alternative. We've used Tangerine and Lime essential oils but there are lots of other essential oils which can be used but do look at the label as some can irritate the skin and don't increase the dose without checking the maximum number of drops per 100ml. If your not sure ask your essential oil retailer or give Essentially oils a call, they are very helpful and extremely knowledgable.
All the crafting products we've used are available from The Craft Barn, their amazing range made it easy to create these fantastic labels and if you fancy making more gifts in jars or bottles, they have some Melissa Frances - Frameworks stamps which a perfect for labels and they have xyron in stock to stick them perfectly!
Now the design team have been sooo creative this week - they are always of course but just wait until you see these brilliant projects. As always click on the persons name to travel straight to their blog to find out how they did it.
Janet
Jo's Journal Jar
Teri's Pickled People
Emma's Four Pack
Bee's cure for Missing Mojo
Avril's Relax in a Radox Bath
Are they not just fantastic! I love all the different ideas so well done team!
Cant wait to see your creations too so as usual leave your name and url with Mr Linky - if he goes into hiding then leave a comment and we will come and look anyway.

Retro Heaven!
Hi all you Tremendous Taggers, we had a fantastic time visiting all the entries for last weeks challenge - there are some amazingly talented people out there, hope you found time to hop around and have a look. We'll be announcing the winner of last weeks challenge later today.
This week we hope you'll be inspired to have a go at creating a retro feel to your artwork, as usual we would love you to make anything your fancy takes you, as long as it has a retro theme. That could be recent retro (60's 70's 80's) or even more retro if you fancy having a go at creating a period piece!
Here's the DT's take on the challenge. If you look carefully you may see some embarrassing pictures of one or two of the design team! Pat has done a great job with my photo!
Our guest designer this week is Heidi so we'll start off with her artwork - a tall act to follow!

Tuesday Taggers - The birds and the bees
Well my turn to choose the theme this week as today is my birthday :0) Been a bit cheeky with this one as my crafty buddies tease me that we always end up talking about the other meaning to the "birds and the bees" when Im around so i just had to choose this to tease them a little LOL
I have been amazed by the DT work this week - seems our newbie team members have raised the bar for us as there is some fabulous work been done this week. Dont forget if you like what you see you can always hop over to their individual blogs to find out how their take on the challenge was achieved and what products/ stamps have been used. Just click on their name above their work and it should link you straight there.
Ive decided that I will donate the prize this week so when I post later today about last weeks winner I will post a picture of the prize to be won - as well as the winner of the Birthday Candy.
So first off our GD for this week is Pat who since winning this has joined our part time DT. Heres a little Pat has sent us about herself .
"I'm full-time carer to my husband John who has MS. We have been married 40 years this December and have a daughter, a son and two gorgeous grandchildren, Jessica 9 and Elliot 6.
I have been crafting in one form or another for the past 30 odd years. I really started with decoupage using the cute wrapping paper (mainly Sarah Kay)that was around at the time. I also did sewing, knitting and crochet. When my daughter began dancing I moved on to costume making and sequin sewing (I've been hooked on all things glitter ever since). I've also done cross stitch but moved onto cardmaking about 8 years ago. It wasn't so easy to get lovely materials to work with back then but we are spoilt for choice these days arn't we? A couple of years ago I got into parchment craft but it has been side lined a bit since I started this blogging lark. I really enjoy the whole blog thing and have made some fantastic blogging friends.
My favourite craft expert has to be Jayne Nestorenko and it has been great being involved with her Cute Companion collection for Crafters Companion. She is such a clever lady and a real sweetie.
I love Tuesday Taggers because it has taken me out of my comfort zone and encouraged me to try new ideas."
Heres Pats Card for this week
