Hang it all, its a Canvas

Another great week with all your fabulous anniversary cards thank you for sharing them with us. Its always a surprise to see your take on a theme and all so different. We always enjoyed looking at your work, so glad we do not have to judge but use a random draw each week. The draw has been done and this weeks winner is

Number15

Get in touch Viv if you fancy a week on the GDT

This week its my (Zoe) turn to set the theme, thought a great big wide open theme 'Canvas' would be fun. This can go in any direction you want there are all sorts of canvas to choose; pads of canvas paper, canvas board, boxed canvasses they come in all sizes. Use a piece of canvas with other materials needs to be a reasonable size and not just a little scrap some where. Canvas is used to make sails, bags, chairs all sorts of things have a play and then come back and show us what you have done.

We have a Fantastic sponsor this week ART FROM THE HEART who are offering a full set of their new Altered Originals Sprays to one lucky winner drawn at random this week, all you have to do is leave a little link to Art from the heart in you entry post.

Now I know one or two members of the DT scratched their heads a little with this theme, hope you agree they came up with some fabulous examples in the end.

Now its over to you remember you need to add a link to Art from the heart in you entry post and link back to it from our linked in button below, Have fun.

Hiya folks!

Teri here with another challenge for you. First up - WOW ladies!! What a lot of fabulous scene makers you are! I'm totally in awe - especially as I couldn't do the project last week, DIY and all that naff stuff, LOL.

So, our winner of the 'Make a Scene' challenge is:

Number 1

Marjo

Well done hun! Who says it doesn't pay to be an early bird! Get in touch via the TT email in the sidebar to claim your GDT spot.

Now onto this week's challenge, which is all about 'Anniversaries'. It is my 21st Wedding Anniversary on 15th July - eeekk!! All those years with the same bloke! Well, he is my soul-mate and bestest friend (pass me the sick bucket! LOL) So that is why I have set this challenge for you. I'd love to see any projects featuring anniversaries, not just wedding ones! Any project you like, tags, scrap layouts, cards, whatever, just as long as there is a reference to anniversaries on it somewhere!!

OK, so if you need it folks, here is some fabulous inspiration from the TT teamxxx

Make a scene!

Hi Everyone

First of all I'd like to say a big thank you to all who sent us such lovely entries last week. They were beautiful, I've only been married three months but they made me wish I was having my wedding day all over again! I'm glad we didn't have to choose a winner out of them!

Random Org is a very useful chappie and this week chose

Number 18

Congratulations Anne

You've won this weeks prize of a £15 voucher from The Craft Barn!

If you'd like to drop us a line we'll sort out the prize for you and if you'd like a spot as a guest designer let us know and we'll give you the details

You might know that weddings are high on our agenda here in Grassington, with my son getting married in September, but what you probably didn't realise is that both he and his fiance are actors, so I couldn't help but follow Pats theme last week with this one.

Yep I want you to make a scene!

This theme can be interpreted in so many ways, having an argument, creating a stage, creating a scene with stamps - it's endless.

Our Guest designer Sonja has started us off with her fantastic take on the theme

and she went with film making - a great start Sonja, thanks

And here are the ideas from the rest of the team

Georgina

So there we are! I know it's not an easy one this week but we do like to throw in the occasional CHALLENGE! and it's great to see who joins in with the spirit of TT and has a go, without worrying how good they think the entry is. We just love to visit you!

So until we do, have a scenic week

x Michelle
