Please contact the TioT email address about a Guest spot.

This week is altered week which is so generously sponsored by our good friends over at The Craft Barn . Once again they are giving one very lucky winner a £15.00 voucher to spend in the shop. How fab is that!

Remember though, to be entered into the prize draw you must add a link to "The craft Barn" in your blog post!

So, Now onto this weeks theme. Did you have a favorite story growing up? Did you listen to Tales of monsters in the wood or sweet fairy tales of princess Happily Ever afters? What every your favorite stories as a child we would like you to use them to help inspire your next project. You can alter the actual book or create a altered piece of art representative of something from the story or how about a piece with an "altered ending to your story?" You are only limited by your imagination.

Now this week we also have a treat for you as we are welcoming the very talented Ellie to join us as a guest Designer from Holland this week. Ellie has created a wonderful picture frame using an actual Hard covered child hood book and used it to house a lovely picture of her daughter at a very young age. To find out more about Ellie and her project please visit her blog link below.

Isn't that just a wonderful piece of art! And now for some more wonderfully inspiring pieces we turn to the rest of the Design Team!

Well done! please contact our email address about a guest design spot.

Onto this weeks challenge and we have 2 wonderful guests joining us this week! The theme is to use a stamp you have had a long time but maybe never have used. Im sure there is something hiding that is begging to be played with so drag it out, dust it off and get stamping. Here is the design teams long forgotten stamps which I am sure will now come out of hiding and be played with tons more! First our fabulous guests.

Starting it off is the Lovely Jane who was the winner of our Steampunk challenge.....

and our next guest designer is Emma(AKA The Sparkly Fairy) who won our Tree Tag Challenge.

And now on to the rest of the team....

Some wonderful tags are there not?

I've often been asked what I do with my tags as people are never quite sure what to do with them once you have made them so here's a little tip........

Whenever I make a tag, I make a card to go with it then I put my tag on the wall with blue tack so I can look at it for a while and when I use the card I put the tag either on the envelope or on a present to go with the card. That way I dont have a glut of tags around the house and the cards look very special when given as a gift!

So have you a reason for making tags now?
Hope so and hope you feel like joining in the challenge this week

Monochrome

Hi All
Ready for this week's challenge?
Don't know how we are going to top the Mega Hop that brought you to our doorstep over the weekend but here goes.....

But before we set off we have to choose a winner of the £15 voucher
from last weeks alter it challenge sponsored by The Craft Barn
and the winner is

Number 25
Flo

Now when I was putting the numbers into Mr Linky I really wanted number 2 to win and I know that's cheating but take a look at this

This was altererd by an amazingly talented artist
TJ
And she is only 7 years old!!!
We just have to have her as a guest designer too so please both of you get in touch so we can sort out the nitty gritty!

So for this weeks challenge we are going back to the era of the black and white telly, when we only heard 'posh' voices on the 'transistor' and when High Def could only refer to a very deaf person!!

It's CARD WEEK and
Yep! we're going Monochrome!
Strictly speaking of course, monochrome isn't just black and white but something which has shades of one colour only ...........is white a shade of black ...............I wonder?????
Our card week as always is sponsored by our good friend Shelley at One stop card crafts

A brilliant prize!
We also have a Guest designer too Check out more about Sue on the sidebar and here at her blog

Not sure why Sues picture has turned out small though so do go to her blog for more details
Thanks for joining the team Sue x

Here is some more inspiration
