Scraplings

Well going back in time to the 70's wasn't everyone's cup of tea but it was fun seeing how inventive you all were that's for sure. As always the random generator has worked his magic and the winner is

Well done! please contact the email address to see about your guest design spot.

Onto this week which is chosen by the lovely
Carole, who is a thrifty crafter, this week she challenged us to make scraplings!
If you have never heard of a scrapling (and some of the team hadn't) its the bit of card you trim off to make a square card from an A4 sheet. Its the tall thin bit of card - perfect for using up scraps of papers etc to make a mini card, bookmark or tag.
Having looked around the net our Pat found this explanation on Anns blog. Gorgeous samples for scraplings too
Here is what the design team have come with this week and where possible we have also used up bits of scraps to complete the thrifty feel of a scrapling.

We've really enjoyed this challenge, a great way of using the waste bits and bobs. Can't wait to see how you use yours.
